I am a passionate Bharatanatyam dancer, performer and teacher from Bengaluru. I was initiated into dance at an early age of 5 by my mother and Guru Vidushi Prabha Kini.
I have been practicing the art form for the past 24 years. Having completed my Pre Vidwath and Rangapravesham, I currently hold Masters degree in Bharatanatyam. I have been conducting Bharatanatyam classes under the banner of "Pratibha Naatyalaya" since 4+ years.
My UA-cam Channel is dedicated to educate dancers about fitness and dance techniques. And I also conduct Strength & Conditioning and Yoga Workshops for dancers.
Our institute has 3 branches in Bangalore :
➞ Malleshwaram
➞ Hebbal
➞ Sarjapur

@@sureshkumbhar4357 glad you like it. A very general recommendation would be to not exercise the same body part on consecutive days. Let the muscle recover for a day or two before you hit the same muscle again.

3:05 focus on feet alone after learning it learn hand movement. This is called focus on one aspect of choreography
3:35 practice every single day
4:15 slow down the movement. Practice slowly

Mam, i dont like studying, i like only dancing. My parents are telling me to become a software engineer. Do you do any other job other than dance teacher.
Since how many years are you learning Bharatanatyam? Are you in a position to earn a livelihood with dance? What are your goals if you want to take up dance as profession ? What are you doing that can help you with that goal? Is it economically viable? These are the questions you need to ask yourself and not ask me if I have a job 😊 Also, I do have a full-time job while I also teach dance.
